Benefits of Virtual Staging

Virtual Staging

Virtual staging is an extremely viable, low-cost solution to market your home to potential buyers. Virtual staging gives you the ability to showcase your home in an economically efficient and time-saving manner.

As most real estate professionals and experienced sellers know, marketing an empty home can be quite a challenge. Empty properties can look uninviting, and prospective buyers may find it difficult to imagine the best use of a completely blank space.

While there’s no question that staging your home will make it more marketable and attractive to prospective buyers, traditional staging can be a very expensive and time-consuming route to take.

When you are looking for a quick and cost-effective way to stage your home for sale, Virtual Staging may be the offer the perfect solution!

Here are some things to consider when virtually staging your home, with a recent example of an incredible detached home in the Dunbar/Southlands area with unique architecture from 1981 that we emphasized through a modern design.

As with regular staging, it’s important to make the home inviting enough so that a prospective buyer can picture themselves living there, while keeping things fairly neutral. If the look is too personalized, it may detract from the appeal of your home to the whole market.

We used Virtual staging for this vacant home in Dunbar/Southlands to enhance the incredible 1980’s architecture. When selecting a style of Virtual Staging furniture, we went with a simple, natural, and modern style of furnishings to compliment the avant-garde home.

As you can see from these before and after photos of the same home, the property itself has not been edited or changed in any way. Furthermore, nothing is ‘covered up’ or hidden in any way that could potentially mislead a potential buyer. The only edits are the careful placement of furniture, area rugs, décor, and art in the photos of a vacant house- as is the case with regular staging.

Whether real or virtual, staging is NOT turning a property into something it is not. Rather, staging is enhancing what is already there to help buyers envision the property as their future home.
